Burrito Style Cheeseburger Wraps

Burrito Style Cheeseburger Wraps

Burrito style cheeseburger wraps roll all the classic cheeseburger flavors—savory beef, melty cheddar, crisp lettuce, tangy sauce—into a warm, toasted tortilla for a fast, handheld dinner the whole family loves.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20)

4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1/2 cup diced tomato

1/4 cup diced onion

1 tbsp yellow mustard

2 tbsp ketchup

2 tbsp mayonnaise

2 tbsp chopped pickles

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp butter or oil, for toasting

Instructions

1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Add the diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until the beef is no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess grease.

2. Whisk together the mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, and chopped pickles in a small bowl to make the sauce.

3. Lay a tortilla flat and spoon the beef mixture into the center, leaving room on all sides.

4. Top with shredded cheddar, lettuce, diced tomato, and a drizzle of the sauce.

5. Fold the sides in, then roll from the bottom like a burrito, tucking it tight.

6. Melt butter in a clean skillet over medium heat. Cook the wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and the cheese is melted.

7. Slice each wrap in half on a diagonal and serve warm.

Notes

Swap the ground beef for ground turkey, chicken, or plant-based crumbles if you prefer.

American or pepper jack cheese both work well in place of cheddar.

Warm the tortillas briefly before filling so they roll tightly without cracking.

Store leftovers wrapped in foil in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
